Maybe it's time

I have been toying with creating a blog, be it daily, weekly or any other frequency. The topic is the issue that has been holding me back from starting, but now I feel I have my topic. My book. I have been writing a fantasy novel for some time now, and I feel writing a blog would help garble out the mess that is my thoughts.

So here goes day one.

As of today I have 45 pages of a rough draft of my story typed out and another about 25-30 hand written ready to be typed out and tweaked. Some would ask why I have so much hand written, I once had a teacher who taught me the value of hand writing verses typing, thank you Curt . When you write with your hand it is more like the ideas are flowing out of you and they feel less mechanical. I have spent many a night staring at a computer screen not knowing what to write, but when I have a pen in my hand, there are many more ideas flowing out of me. I may not always be able to read my own handwriting, but writing is a much more productive means of getting out ideas.

Today my goal is to either write another few pages or transcribe and tweak what I have already written. Deciding on which I will do, will depend on where my mind is after I finish writing this.
